Our first storm of the new year dropped about a foot of snow on us starting on Thursday. We braved temperatures around 10 °F/-12 °C to check in on Jamaica Pond.
The Pond was covered in ice with a thin layer of snow on top. We didn’t see a single bird from the boathouse. The wind coming off the water was brutal.
The boats here won’t see water for quite a while.
